About Serendipity's

We will be happy to customize a cake or other baked good for your next occasion.  All of our products are made based on your tastes and dietary restrictions.  Please see our Facebook page for our current menu.
Cake Flavors
 
     Traditional – From white to chocolate, we make them all.  (Within the limits of our acceptable allergens.)
     Custom – Interested in a unique flavor for an ethnic or themed event?  We’ll come up with a recipe just for you!
 
Have a favorite recipe from your “before diagnosis” days?  Bring it to us and we’ll adapt it to you current allowable foods list.
 
Fillings
       
     Fruits
     Custards
     Seeds can be wonderful substitutions for the traditional nut fillings in many recipes.
   
Soaks
    
     Flavored simple syrups that make for a very moist cake and lively flavor.  Try the lemon!
    
Icings
       
     Buttercream – Many color and flavor options available.
     Chocolate Buttercream – You may have had milk or dark chocolate, but what about white?
     Ganache – Chocolate that is poured over the cake to produce a smooth, dramatic covering.
 
Fondant – Made fresh in our kitchen
       
     Vanilla – If you’ve had fondant before and didn’t like it, try ours before you say no to ever trying it again.  Ours never hardens and has a
                    delicate flavor that goes well with any cake.  The stuff out of the tubs can’t compete!
     Chocolate – Rich flavor and dramatic appearance.
 
At your request, we can provide diet-specific options including but not limited to:
 
    No artificial colors or flavors
    Vegan
    Lower glycemic index (Note:  We do not provide sugar-free options.)
 
Custom cakes start at around $2.00 a slice for a basic white cake with buttercream icing.
